About Le Petit Katong

Le Petit Katong is Group Therapy’s new French-inspired bistro in Katong V and is in the same spot previously occupied by Group Therapy Café.

Le Petit Katong’s diverse menu offers tasty entrées such as rilletes, eggs mimosa and fish goujons, alongside robust French classics such as a Provençal seafood stew, beef bourguignon pasta and steak frites. A curated alcohol list including hand-crafted cocktails and mocktails round out the French fare. The bistro also features a generous brunch and coffee menu in a nod to its coffee shop roots.

Le Petit Katong’s head chef Rainier Ng brings an approachable yet refined verve to French cuisine with his honest cooking and modern techniques. He draws from 15 years of culinary experience in vaunted establishments including L’atelier de Joel Robuchon and Jaan, both two-starred Michelin restaurants and Gaston Burgundy Bistro. Ng is also a fermentation enthusiast and is responsible for all fermented produce on the menu.

In line with the ethos of Group Therapy Coffee, Le Petit Katong is more than a neighbourhood bistro and aims to be a community hub, in order to positively impact the local community and environment. To do this, it sources ingredients from local farmers and is committed to sustainable practices such as fair-trade coffee beans and eco-friendly packaging.
